Christine

Christine is the founder of Country Kennels who's dream started when she was 16 years old and worked in boarding kennels. Her dedication to dogs was obvious as her transportation costs were more than her wages!

Christine's undying passion for animals has ruled her ever since, she has spent many years (we won't say how many!) creating what we know today as Country Kennels - North Wales best kept secret!

Christine spends most her time ensuring that every dog has the best experience during their stay with us but when she's not in the kennels she's mucking out ponies and spending time with her yellow Lab Dude.

Justin

Justin and Christine's 40 year marriage was forged on a love for fresh air, farming and of course dogs!

Justin has years of experience in training his own sheepdogs and gundogs which work the farmland, wherever he is you'll find a loyal dog by his side. Justin has two sheep dogs which he trained himself called Ben and Sam.

Justin has a way with dogs and even the most nervous dogs seem to take trust in him.

Oliver

Oliver has helped in the kennels since the day it opened, when he's not working in the kennels he enjoys working on the farm and training his own dogs. Oliver has recently had to say a sad farewell to his dogs 'Bond' and 'Flush' at the grand old age of fourteen. However he is currently in the middle of training little 'Mish' our up and coming sheepdog.

Jess

Jess has always enjoyed spending time with dogs and certainly has a natural affinity with them. Jess is a enthusiastic breeder of Labradoodles, Cockerpoos and Bordoodles! She prides herself on the quality breeding from fully health tested dogs and expert socialisation of her puppies.

When Jess is not in the kennels she works assistance dogs for 'Canine Assisted Learning'. Jess can often be seen taking dogs into the local schools and workplaces to help with important well being and learning needs. Jess is also the district commissioner for our local pony club and is usually found with a Labrador at one side and a pony on the other.

Luci

Luci lives and breathes dogs and they seem to be integrated into every part of her life. She enjoys spending time with the dogs who need a little extra of TLC and can usually win them over with time and patience. Although Luci is often seen in the kennels, she spends half her time away at university studying canine behaviour and training. Luci is also the behaviourist and trainer for Canine Assisted Learning and is building up a good client rapport for dogs with behaviour probems.

Luci is always accompanied by a shadow in the shape of a little spaniel called Indie.

Nancy

Nancy started volunteering for us when she was just thirteen and has since been offered part-time job. Nancy has a two Terriers at home called Buba and Teddy who she enjoys walking on the beach and up the Orme. Nancy takes pride in her role as the best dog cuddler - all the dogs seem to want to cuddle her no matter how muddy they are. We're still waiting on a day where Nancy goes home clean!

Amber

Amber is the new face at Country Kennels, Amber has always had a strong desire to work with dogs and has six dogs on her farm at home. Amber enjoys walking her dogs in the Welsh countryside. Amber loves all dogs but Terriers are her favourite and she has three at home! Amber has her own cleaning business called 'Keep it Clean' so the kennels are always squeaky clean when she's around!
